Due to continued projects demand, the company is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join its construction team.
The successful applicant will undertake a broad range of carpentry duties across residential building projects, working collaboratively with site supervisors and other trades to deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining compliance with Australian building standards and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements
Certificate III/ IV in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).
Minimum one year of relevant post-qualification experience as a Carpenter.
Current knowledge of Australian residential construction methods and building standards.
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
Construct, install and repair timber frameworks, wall frames, flooring systems, roof structures and other structural components for residential building projects.
Install doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves, cabinetry, cladding, decking, pergolas and other interior and exterior timber fixtures.
Read and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans and specifications to accurately complete carpentry work.
Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other construction materials using both hand and power tools.
Install and dismantle formwork, temporary supports and bracing as required during construction.
Carry out framing, fit-out and finishing carpentry to a high standard of workmanship.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications, Australian Standards and relevant building regulations.
Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors and other trades to ensure construction activities are completed efficiently.
Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe, clean and organised condition.
Identify and report construction issues or defects and recommend practical solutions where appropriate.
Ensure strict compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
Assist in achieving construction schedules while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials and building practices.
Ability to accurately read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
