About the role:
TheAccounts Clerkis a key member of the NightOwl finance team, providing support to the Head of Finance and Accountants to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of daily finance activities.
This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting, and supporting compliance across the group.
Key responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial reports by gathering data and supporting documentation.
Support the maintenance of accounts, including preparing reconciliations for review by the Accountants.
Provide administrative support for compliance tasks and assisting the team as required.




Assist in compiling weekly and monthly invoices for reports.
Deliver accurate and timely administrative finance support.
Process and monitor inbox invoices and statements, flagging discrepancies and escalating issues to the Accountants where required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Foundational understanding of finance principles.
Valuable attention to detail and Excel skills.
A willingness to learn and develop within a finance team.
Ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Exposure to systems such as NetSuite or BI tools (highly regarded but not essential).
