The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals during busy service periods.
Your day-to-day will include:
Prepping fresh ingredients and running a clean, organized section.
Cooking classic pub meals to a high standard, ensuring excellent presentation and speed.
Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene protocols
Assisting with stock control, rotation, and minimizing wastage.
Working collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:Previous experience as a commercial cook or chef (pub, club,



or bistro experience is a massive plus).
Skills:Strong knife skills, ability to handle high-volume service under pressure, and a sharp eye for detail.
Compliance:Full understanding of food safety regulations.
Trade qualifications (e.g., Cert III in Commercial Cookery) are highly regarded but not essential if you have the equivalent hands-on experience.
Attitude:A reliable, team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
Availability:Flexibility to work a roster that includes weekends and evenings (penalty rates apply).
We believe in having a healthy work life balance, we create a roster and schedule which is versatile to be able to let staff enjoy some weekend time to themselves as well as being at work.
