Dominant Property Services (NSW) Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Grounds Maintenance Gardener or skilled labourer to join our team in Newcastle, NSW, immediate start.
This is a casual role however usually is 5 days per week that will involve maintaining and enhancing the grounds and gardens of our commercial and residential properties throughout the Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Maitland and the Greater Hunter area.
What you'll be doingPerform regular mowing, edging, and trimming of lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas.
Plant, prune, and maintain a variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Apply fertilisers, herbicides, and pesticides as needed to ensure the health and vitality of the landscaping.
Identify and address any garden or grounds issues to maintain the high standards of our properties.
Operate and maintain various gardening equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist with general grounds clean-up and waste removal as required.
Provide excellent customer service to our clients and property managers.
What we're looking forPrevious experience in a grounds maintenance or gardening role, preferably within the commercial or residential property sectors desirable.
Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and the use of gardening equipment.
Basic or practical horticultural knowledge including plant care and gardening equipment operation is desirable.




Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the best possible presentation of our properties.
Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
