Job Description

AJ Aluminium Pty Ltd are currently seeking a full time experienced glazier for a very busy well established Northern Beaches commercial window and door manufacturer. We manufacture and install a wide range of products for all aspects of the building and construction industry. The salary will be between $80K - $95k plus Super.

Tasks and Duties
Assess worksite risks and assess before commencing
Choice of an appropriate glass
Building the framework for the glass
Measuring and fitting current glass
Sealing glass and making everything watertight
Using a crane with suction cups to lift glass into place
Working with plastic or laminates, and treatments that make glass safer or stronger
Ensure proper handling, coating, etching, or trimming as required
Hack outs where required
Work with supervisor to plan and manage orders as well as monitor progress




Recommend techniques to improve efficiency
Load & arrange glass & mirrors onto delivery truck
Installation of glass into windows and doors

Qualifications, education, and experience requirements
Suitably qualified (relevant Cert IV qualification or equivalent with minimum 15 years experience)
At least 4 years of relevant experience in a production setting

Ability to caulk
Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
Attention to detail
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Drivers license and car
