About the Job
We are seeking an experiencedWarehouse Coordinatorto join our team based inIngleburnon a12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on warehouse professional with demonstrated leadership experience who is passionate about safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional customer service.
As the Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse and distribution activities while supporting and guiding team members to achieve operational objectives.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety requirements, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, and company standards, while contributing to a positive and high-performing team environment.
Reporting to the Site Leadership Team, you will assist in driving warehouse performance through effective inventory control, accurate dispatch operations, strong stakeholder engagement, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key role functions include but are not limited to:
Coordinate day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
Support and provide guidance to warehouse team members, fostering a cooperative and safety-focused culture.
Promote compliance with WHSE policies, procedures, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.




Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities, ensuring accurate and on-time dispatch.
Maintain inventory accuracy through effective stock control, cycle counts, and inventory management processes.
Work closely with Production, Customer Service, and Transport providers to meet customer requirements and delivery expectations.
Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and performance.
Assist with workforce coordination, labour hire arrangements, rostering, and timekeeping activities.
Ensure warehouse documentation, reporting, purchasing, and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Deliver outstanding customer service through effective communication, accurate order fulfilment, and operational excellence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly organised warehouse professional with strong coordination skills, proven leadership experience, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Warehouse Coordinator, Leading Hand, Team Leader, or similar role with leadership responsibilities.
Minimum 3 years' forklift operating experience (desirable).
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support team members in a warehouse environment.
Strong understanding of Warehouse Health, Safety, and Environmental (WHSE) requirements.
Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations.
Experience using SAP or similar ERP/Warehouse Management Systems.
Strong planning, scheduling, and problem-solving capabilities.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
