The Role
Are you an experienced plumber looking to take your career to new heights?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Services Plumber to join our NSW Project team, where you will play a crucial role in commissioning HVAC and mechanical services systems across NSW projects.
Key Responsibilities
Install, replace, alter, maintain, test and assist in commissioning HVAC/mechanical services systems, plant and equipment, including pipework, valves, pumps, coils, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, package units, split systems, VRF/VRV equipment and fans.
Install approved copper, steel, PVC, ABS and other pipework for chilled water, condenser water, heating water, cold water make-up, condensate and related mechanical services systems.
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, SWMS,



ITPs, commissioning sheets, equipment manuals and manufacturer instructions.
Maintain Airmaster installation standards, workmanship, QA checks, testing records, mark‐ups, as‐built information, defect rectification and handover readiness.
Plan and coordinate day‐to‐day site work, labour, materials, tools, access equipment and subcontractor interfaces with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Drafting, commissioning personnel and client representatives.
Coordinate safe isolation, lock‐out/tag‐out and electrical interfaces with appropriately licensed electrical workers.
Do not perform electrical work unless separately licensed and authorised.
Support air/water balancing, pre‐commissioning and commissioning activities within competency, and coordinate specialist commissioning when required.
Carry out refrigerant, dogging, rigging, lifting, EWP or other licensed work only where the relevant current licence, competency and task authorisation are held, and the work is controlled by approved SWMS/lift plans.
Supervise apprentices, trade assistants or less experienced workers only within licence scope and Airmaster authorisation.
Complete timesheets, job reports, pre-starts, Take 5s, SWMS sign‐ons, QA records and other paperwork/electronic reports promptly and accurately; maintain vehicle, tools and equipment in safe, clean and presentable condition.




The successful candidate will possess the following:
Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications, standards, plant operating instructions and equipment manuals.
Knowledge of applicable WHS requirements, NCC/BCA principles, AS ****, AS ****, AS/NZS ****, AS/NZS **** and other relevant mechanical services standards to the extent applicable to the work.
Clear verbal and written communication, timely reporting and professional client interaction.
Sound planning, problem solving, material take‐off and site coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and site personnel.
Professional image, valuable interpersonal skills, digital literacy and alignment with Airmaster values and behaviours.
Valid driver licence and ability to travel to NSW sites as required.
