What we are looking for:
We're looking for an experienced Facilities Officer to join our Property Works & Services team, based out of Maryborough but working on projects across the Fraser Coast region.
You'll coordinate and supervise he maintenance, operations and capital improvements on a range of administration, public use, and heritage listed facilities.
What your day will look like:
Conducting building inspections, preparing asset condition reports and other relevant documentation
Developing, implementing and reviewing forecasts, maintenance schedules, and asset management plans
Assisting with the management of operational and capital budgets for building maintenance and capital works programs
Preparing relevant quotation and tender documentation and appropriate contract administration
Liaising with contractors and tradespersons where required
What you'll need for success:
Experience interpreting and applying building, heritage and safety regulations
Demonstrated experience conducting inspections reporting and cost estimation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a variety of stakeholders
Valid drivers licence and a construction induction white card
What's nice to have:
AQF level 5 or above in construction or a related field
