Employment Type: Initial 3-month casual duration with the potential to move to permanent direct with client
Duties & responsibilities
Operate a forklift to move and dispose of waste materials as required
Sort materials (e.g. paper and plastic) and load into appropriate containers
Assist with weighbridge operations, including basic computer use and communication
Use radios and messaging platforms (e.g. WhatsApp) to communicate with the team
Complete basic paperwork and maintain accurate records
Operate equipment such as a baler when required
Maintain clean work areas, including indoor and outdoor spaces
Support secure, productive site operations and deliver valuable customer service
Skills & experience
Minimum 6 months’ forklift experience and current forklift licence
Current driver’s licence (Class C – AUS / Class 1 – NZ minimum)
Confident with basic computer use and communication tools
Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and able to follow instructions
Experience using weighbridge software (desirable)
Background in the waste management industry (desirable)
