We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on a DIDO civil infrastructure project in regional NSW. You’ll be working on a busy site delivering a range of earthworks and civil construction tasks, contributing to high-quality project outcomes.
This position suits an operator who is confident, safety-focused, and experienced in civil environments, with the ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Ongoing work is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate excavators for bulk earthworks, trenching, and detailed excavation
Final trim, battering, and benching to design levels
Work around live services and follow secure excavation practices
Read and interpret plans, set-out, and levels
Perform daily pre-starts and basic machine maintenance
Work closely with site supervisors,
surveyors, and ground crew
Maintain a secure and productive work environment
Requirements:
Proven experience operating wheeled & tracked excavators on civil construction sites
GPS and/or final trim experience (highly regarded)
Ability to read and interpret plans and levels
Strong commitment to safety and site procedures
White Card (essential)
Excavator SOA & VOC
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (required for DIDO)
Ability to work rostered shifts and stay away from home
