Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Jade Biviano Family Pty Ltd trading as Biviano Direct Date Posted: August 04, **** Position: IT Support and Test Engineer Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per annum plus superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Thornbury VIC **** Experience required: Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role Jade Biviano Family Pty Ltd trading as Biviano Direct is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time IT Support and Test Engineer to provide technical expertise, maintain IT infrastructure, improve system performance, and diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities • Monitor the integrity, availability and performance of hardware, servers, systems and critical processes, and review system and application logs.
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify and respond to potential security threats.
• Manage daily backup operations and ensure successful recovery and off-site storage of backup media.
• Perform file archiving and data purging in accordance with organisational requirements.
• Create, modify and delete user accounts as requested.
• Provide IT support by investigating, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Repair and recover hardware and software failures while coordinating with affected stakeholders.
• Perform system testing,



upgrades and maintenance of administrative tools and utilities, and configure recent services where required.
• Review and assess systems architecture and recommend hardware and software improvements.
• Install, configure and maintain system software and operational procedures.
• Prepare periodic performance reports to support capacity planning.
• Optimise system performance through hardware upgrades and resource allocation.
• Maintain data centre environmental and monitoring equipment.
• Test database systems and upgrades, including debugging, tracking, logging and resolving issues in accordance with approved testing procedures.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and service providers regarding IT security solutions and service delivery.
• Monitor network performance to ensure all system components operate effectively.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational manuals, reports and maintenance records.
Qualifications and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
