Kempsey Nissan is expanding our workshop team and we’re looking for a qualified Service Technician who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys being part of a supportive, high‑performing crew.

About the role:

As a Service Technician at Kempsey Nissan, you will:
Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of Nissan vehicles
Use contemporary diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer‑approved processes
Deliver high‑quality workmanship with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
Work collaboratively with our Service Advisors and Workshop Controller
Maintain accurate records and uphold Nissan’s service standards

Your key responsibilities will include:
Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles sold under dealer warranty including the dismantling and reconstruction or replacement of faulty components
Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to workshop foreman
Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
Maintaining an up‑to‑date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to dealer product range




Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment
Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to guests
Providing high level guest service to the dealership’s guests

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III Light Vehicle or equivalent)
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Experience with modern vehicle systems and technology
A positive attitude and commitment to great customer service
Current driver’s licence
Nissan experience is a bonus, but not essential
