What’s the gig?

We’re on the lookout for energetic Civil Labourers who have experience laying stormwater pipes to jump on board for exciting current and upcoming projects on the Central Coast. If you’re fit, ready for some hands-on action, and want to grow with us, we want to hear from you!

Your Day-to-Day:
Stormwater pipelaying and experience with large pits and junctions
Read blueprints, prepare trenches, grade the earth for proper gravity flow, and join heavy-duty pipes (900mm)
Setting up pipe lasers and reading drainage plans
Filling in the trenches with soil and rock, and compacting the ground securely to prevent future sinking or damage to overlying roads and structures.
Working alongside Civil Construction Plant Operators to dig trenches, ensure trench safety supports are in place, and dewater the site if necessary.

About You
Prior experience in laying concrete, GRP and/or PVC pipes




Reading and interpreting plans to determine layouts & materials
Installing stormwater drains, sewer and water mains
Utilising tools such as pipe lasers, dumpy levels, grade rods & relevant equipment
Prior experience in civil construction labouring

Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical
Team player who can also fly solo when needed
