Part time Diploma fixed term Parental Leave position

Western Sydney University Early Learning Parramatta is situated on the grounds of the Western Sydney University Parramatta South Campus which is located off Victoria Rd, Rydalmere.

We are seeking the right candidates a parental leave contract

Part time 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 24hr) until April 2027

The position will comply with the conditions set out in the Western Sydney University Early Learning EA. Our Enterprise Agreement offers above award wages and conditions.

To be a successful applicant you must have;
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Working with Children Check clearance and number for verification
DEC approved child protection certification
First Aid including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Previous experience working in an education and care service
Ability to fulfill the requirements of a Responsible Person in Charge
Sound Knowledge of current regulations, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
A passion for learning and intentional teaching of children aged birth to 6 years




Knowledge of overall Health and Safety regarding children's services
Previous experience working in an education and care service with children with additional needs.
Involvement in the preparation and assessment under the National Quality Standard.
Involvement in contribute to the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of programs which reflect the emerging skills and interactions of children.
