About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced
Diploma Qualified Educator
to join our welcoming team to cover a 12 month maternity leave position starting in term 4 of ****. Working alongside a dedicated group of early childhood professionals, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of an engaging educational program that supports children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
Foster positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community.
Implement high-quality educational programs in accordance with the
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
.
Observe, document, and assess children's learning and development.
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Collaborate effectively with the educational team to achieve quality outcomes.
Contribute to maintaining compliance with the
National Quality Framework (NQF)
, National Regulations, and service policies and procedures.
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).
Demonstrated experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
Sound knowledge of the
National Quality Framework (NQF)
, National Quality Standard (NQS), and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong organisational and documentation skills.
Child Safety Requirements

Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety and child protection practices.
Understand and comply with the
NSW Child Safe Standards
and the service's Child Safe Environment Policy.
Report concerns regarding child wellbeing in accordance with relevant legislation and service procedures.
Participate in child protection training and ongoing career development.
Support a culture where children feel safe, respected, heard, and valued.
Mandatory Clearances and Certifications
Applicants must hold and maintain:
A current
NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Current
Provide Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012)
, or willingness to obtain.
Current Child Protection Training recognised by the NSW Department of Education.
