As a Plant/Quarry Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of heavy machinery while contributing to the safe and efficient running of quarry operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy mobile plant including loaders, water carts, excavators, and dump trucks
Monitor equipment performance and report faults or maintenance requirements
Conduct pre-start checks and routine inspections
Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping duties
Work safely and adhere to all site safety procedures and regulations
Assist with general quarry operations as required
Maintain production targets while ensuring quality standards are met
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience operating heavy machinery within a quarry, mining, construction, or industrial environment
Demonstrated experience operating loaders, excavators, dump trucks, water carts, or similar equipment
Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Reliable work ethic and strong communication skills
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
