We are seekingDevOps Engineerto join a high-performing Federal Government Department.
The successfulDevOps Engineerwill play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining secure, automated build, release and infrastructure deployment pipelines within a secure cloud environment.
The successfulDevOps Engineerwill secure aninitial contract until June ****with1x12 monthextension options, based inCanberra, ACT.
The DevOps Engineerwill be responsible for but not limited to:
Designing, implementing and maintainingCI/CDpipelines
Developing and managingInfrastructure as Code (IaC)to configurecloudenvironments
EmbeddingDevSecOpspractices and integrating security controls into delivery pipelines
Implementing setting configuration management and release management processes
Collaborating withcloudplatform, security and network teams




The DevOps Engineerwill have experience in the following:
Prior experience designing and maintainingCI/CD pipelinesin securecloudenvironments
Demonstrated experience withInfrastructure as Codeand automated infrastructure provisioning
Experience embeddingDevSecOpspractices and security controls into delivery pipelines
Knowledge of configuration management, version control and release management practices
Experience supportingcloudmigrationand platform modernisation initiatives
This is an exciting opportunity for aDevOps Engineerlooking to join an innovative Federal Agency.This long-term opportunity (up to a 2-year engagement) offers anexcellent workingenvironmentandcompetitive contracting rates.
