As a growing, family-owned business, we're looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager / Estimator to join our team at our Taren Point head office.

The Role
This is a diverse, hands-on position that combines project management with estimating and tender support.
You'll be responsible for managing the successful delivery of HVAC and mechanical services projects from award through to completion, while also assisting with estimating, preparing quotations, and supporting tender submissions for new work.
Working closely with the director, you'll play a key role in both delivering existing projects and helping secure future opportunities, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys both the operational and commercial sides of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of commercial HVAC projects
Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, procurement, and resource planning
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective solutions
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, building codes, and WHS requirements




Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, consultants, and suppliers
Provide technical support throughout all stages of project delivery
Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for commercial projects
Review plans, specifications, and tender documentation to develop competitive pricing
Assist with tender submissions, scope reviews, value engineering, and contract handovers
Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the continued growth of the business
About You
You'll be an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys taking ownership and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you'll have:
Proven experience in HVAC project management within the building services industry
Estimating experience, including preparing quotations and tender submissions (or a strong willingness to develop these skills)
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and construction practices
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
Experience using estimating and project management software such as Simpro and EstimateOne
A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in contributing to the growth of a small business
