Catering Assistant | Greenhill Aged Care

Greenhill Aged Care is seeking a reliable and caring Catering Assistant to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality dining services to our residents.

This is an important role within our facility, ensuring meals are plated and served with care, dignity and attention to dietary requirements. You will work closely with the Catering Manager, Chef and kitchen team to maintain high food safety standards while creating a positive dining experience for residents.

About the Role
Plate and serve meals in accordance with portion sizes and dietary requirements
Maintain high presentation standards in dining areas and serveries
Assist with food preparation as directed by the Chef
Monitor and record fridge temperatures
Follow food safety, HACCP and infection control guidelines
Perform cleaning, dishwashing and restocking duties




Set up buffet-style breakfasts and support daily meal service

About You
Previous experience in hospitality, food service or a similar role
Food Handling Certificate (desirable)
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Robust attention to detail and presentation
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
A respectful and caring approach when interacting with residents
