Tidda Workforce is proud to partner with major infrastructure and transport projects across New South Wales. We are currently seeking experienced TIG Welders for an exciting opportunity with Sydney Trains based at the Homebush Rail Equipment Centre.
This is a outstanding opportunity to secure a long-term assignment with a respected rail organisation, offering competitive rates and consistent full-time hours.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Homebush Rail Equipment Centre, NSW
Pay Rate: Up to $***** per hour + Super
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Potential Extension: Yes, depending on project requirements
Hours: 7:15am - 3:45pm
RDO Every 4 Weeks
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TIG welding of rail and equipment components
Reading and interpreting welding specifications
Fabrication and repair work as required
Working within Sydney Trains safety and quality standards
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Collaborating with workshop and maintenance teams
REQUIREMENTS




Proven TIG Welding Experience
Strong fabrication and welding background
Ability to pass pre-employment requirements
Current Rights to Work in Australia
Ability to provide 2 employment references upon offer
Police Check upon offer
Valid identification for TfNSW onboarding requirements
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
PPE REQUIRED

Welding Helmet
Standard PPE
WHAT'S ON OFFER
$***** per hour + Super
Stable Monday to Friday roster
RDO every 4 weeks
6-month assignment with potential extension
