On behalf of our client, we are looking for anexperienced full-time Accountant.
The daily duties and responsibilities include:
Collate and review financial records to ensure accuracy and clear audit trails.
Supporting the Financial Controller with various month end reporting duties when required
Preparing financial statement and financial report for management
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements
Managing cash flows and investments and creating budgets and forecasts
Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
Audit financial transactions and documents
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Education
– Bachelor degree or higher qualification desirable. Industry experience may substitute.
Experience & Skills
At least 2 years of relevant experience with completing tax returns; more complex company, trust,



partnerships; tax research and preparing of financial statement for all entity types; correspondence with ASIC and ATO.
Demonstrated solid understanding of client file structures
Demonstrated understanding of asset protections concepts
Demonstrated time management completing engagements within timeframes
Staying aware of current events and economic legislative and environments
Ability to work largely independent and display role model behaviour for accountants
Demonstrated high level understanding of practice tax software, returns, file creations and matter creations and maintenance.
Demonstrated working knowledge of basic concepts for GST, FBT and Stamp Duty.
Salary
- Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is $79,499 - $100,000 per annum
