Finance Transformation Lead - Systems Implementation
Our client is launching two significant Order-to-Cash (OTC) transformation programs and is looking for one person to lead both on an initial Fixed Term Contract of 12 months. One reshapes Cash Application, the other overhauls Collections. Together they will modernise the technology, processes and ways of working that sit at the heart of a large operation. This is a rare chance to own delivery from requirements through go-live and see your work land across the business.

Our client operates a Group Finance and Business Services Centre that delivers finance services at scale across a well-established, multi-business listed organisation. The team brings together skilled people, modern technology and standardised processes to support operations nationally.
The role
As Finance Implementation Lead, you'll be the connection point between Finance, Shared Services, Technology and external implementation partners. You'll guide each program through its full lifecycle: defining requirements, designing future-state processes, validating solutions, running testing, deploying, and optimising once systems are live. Day to day, you'll facilitate workshops, work through competing priorities, keep stakeholders informed on progress and risks, and make sure the technology measurably improves how the work gets done. You'll also champion adoption, so the changes hold long after go-live.
Your remit spans OTC transformation delivery, process design and optimisation,



stakeholder management, testing and training, and change management. You'll act as the subject matter expert across Credit, Collections and Cash Application, and coach others as capability grows across the team.
What you'll bring
We're interested in what you can do, not the exact shape of your career so far. People reach this work from operational finance, shared services, consulting, or finance systems & process roles, and all of those paths are welcome. You'll likely bring:
Hands-on experience in OTC operations, particularly Credit, Collections or Cash Application
A track record leading or supporting finance system implementations and business transformation
Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle
Strong business analysis skills across requirements definition, process mapping and future-state design
Confidence collaborating across Finance, Technology and operational teams toward shared outcomes
Experience supporting testing, training, deployment and change activities
A degree in Finance or Accounting is ideal, and Lean Six Sigma or business analysis certifications are a plus, though neither is essential if your experience speaks for itself.
