Based at our Rutherford Depot, this role is responsible for supervising workshop operations and supporting the maintenance and repair of our heavy vehicle fleet. Working an afternoon shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, you will lead workshop staff, coordinate maintenance activities and help ensure fleet availability, safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day workshop operations
Coordinate servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance activities
Assist with fault diagnosis and vehicle breakdown management
Monitor workshop productivity and maintenance schedulesEnsure maintenance records and documentation are completed accurately
Promote and maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Support, coach and mentor workshop employees and apprentices
Liaise with operations, suppliers and contractors to minimise fleet downtime

About You

Previous experience in a Workshop Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar role
Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair practices
Sound understanding of WHS and NHVR requirements
HR driver's licence preferred
Solid organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team environment
