We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused
Casual Resort Reception & Café Bar Attendant
to join our team, working across two resort locations.
This is a varied role that offers the chance to work in both
resort reception
and
café/bar operations
. You will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience to our guests, assisting with reception duties, and supporting the day-to-day operation of our café and bar at one of our locations.
The successful candidate will be confident working with guests, have a positive attitude, and enjoy a role where no two days are exactly the same.
About the Role
This is a casual position offering approximately
***** hours per week
, with shifts across two locations.
Location 1 - Resort Reception
Guest check-ins and check-outs
Answering guest enquiries and providing information about the resort and local area
Managing bookings, reservations and guest requests
Answering phone calls and responding to emails
Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
Assisting guests with any questions or concerns
Maintaining a professional and welcoming reception area
Location 2 - Resort Reception, Café & Bar
All resort reception duties listed above
Taking café and bar orders
Preparing and serving beverages, including coffee and other drinks
Serving food and assisting with basic food preparation as required
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system and processing payments
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café and bar
Restocking supplies and monitoring inventory
Ensuring responsible service of alcohol requirements are followed, where applicable




Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide friendly, professional and personalised service to resort guests
Manage guest arrivals, departures and general reception enquiries
Process bookings, payments and transactions accuratelyAnswer telephone calls and respond to guest enquiries
Handle guest requests and resolve issues in a calm and professional manner
Provide information about resort facilities, services and local attractions
Prepare and serve café and bar products
Take orders and provide efficient table or counter service as required
Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented reception, café and bar environment
Restock products and supplies as needed
Follow all workplace health and safety, food safety and operational procedures
Work collaboratively with other team members across both locations
Assist with general resort and hospitality duties as required
About You

Is comfortable working in a busy hospitality and guest-facing environment
Has good attention to detail and organisational skills
Is flexible and willing to work across two locations
Can confidently multitask and prioritise competing demands
Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Previous experience in
resort reception, hotel reception, hospitality, cafés or bars
will be highly regarded, but we are also open to candidates with the right attitude and a strong commitment to customer service.
Availability across weekdays, weekends and public holidays may be required.
