About the Role:
Phoenix EMS is seeking a skilled Workshop Electrician to join our Cardiff team. This role is primarily workshop-based and involves the assembly, wiring, testing, and refurbishment of electrical equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience working in a workshop setting, and a solid understanding of electrical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly and wiring of switchboards, control panels, and electrical systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications
Carry out fault finding, repairs, and refurbishment of electrical equipment
Test and commission electrical components and systems
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with Australian Standards
Maintain a clean, organised,



and safe workshop environment
Accurately complete job documentation and reports
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
Skills & Experience:
Current NSW Electrical Licence
Previous experience in a workshop-based electrical role
Experience with switchboard building and/or control wiring
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Good communication and teamwork skills
Experience with motor control systems and PLC wiring
