Job Title - PROF Project Support Officer Job ID - ******* Security Clearance: NV1 Clearance Length of Contract: 11 months The role closes on 11/08/2026 Location: Adelaide, SA Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures.
Coordinate project workforce planning and delivery timelines, tracking task performance and resolving delivery blockers.
Support governance reporting, including weekly status reports, financial updates, and milestone tracking.
Maintain project registers (risks, issues, actions), support risk mitigation planning, and track progress to resolution.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Ideal Candidate: Solid organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Prior experience with sustainment or shipyard environments is highly desirable.
SFIA Skills Sought: The provision of support and guidance on portfolio, programme and project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques.
Support includes definition of portfolios, programmes, and projects; advice on the development, production and maintenance of business cases; time,



resource, cost and exception plans, and the use of related software tools.
Tracking and reporting of programme/project progress and performance are also covered, as is the capability to facilitate all aspects of portfolio/ programme/ project meetings, workshops and documentation.
PROF Level 3: Communicates information security risks and issues to business managers and others.
Performs basic risk assessments for small information systems.
Contributes to vulnerability assessments.
Applies and maintains specific security controls as required by organisational policy and local risk assessments.
Investigates suspected attacks.
Responds to security breaches in line with security policy and records the incidents and action taken.
