Job Description A career that lets your passion shine: Prepare, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes, with correct glassware, garnish and presentation Craft signature cocktails with creativity and knowledge of current beverage trends Recommend cocktails, wines and beers that enhance the guest experience, and promote seasonal offerings and specials Deliver friendly, qualified service in line with Sofitel brand standards, anticipating guest needs and handling feedback promptly Take orders accurately and promptly, using suggestive selling to maximise sales Present bills and process payments securely and accurately Maintain stock levels through regular inventory checks, control usage and minimise wastage Operate the MICROS POS system and report any discrepancies to Supervisors Keep the bar and service areas clean and equipment in good working order, in compliance with health, safety and liquor laws Set up and pack down the venue, and restock to stay service-ready throughout the shift Work closely with kitchen, floor and management to keep service running smoothly, attending briefings as required Qualifications What you will bring to the role: Bartending experience in a hotel, bar or restaurant, ideally in a luxury or high-volume venue Current Queensland RSA certification Solid cocktail, wine and beer knowledge,
