They are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Accounts Officer with extensive full function AP & AR knowledge. If you have some Payroll hands on experience, even better but not essential! Join a warm and friendly finance team where you will report directly to the Finance Manager and be able to work your flexible hours in a skilled and cohesive environment. For your experience you will be offered a great salary of $85,000 + Super (pro rata) based on 3 full days of work. The role has the scope to grow to 4 days in the future if the successful applicant wanted.
THE ROLE:
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Expertise: Proven experience managing end-to-end accounts receivable and payable functions, including invoice processing, collections, payments, and supplier management.
Perform accurate daily bank reconciliations ensuring data integrity and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Provide support to the finance team during the audit period
Competency in using accounting software and corporate debit card systems
Ability to document financial processes clearly and maintaining up-to-date procedural manuals
Proficiency with Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and data analysis.
To be considered you will have/be able to:
Minimum 3-4 years experience within an Accounts Officer role (Full function AP & AR)
Must be able to commit to working in the office, this is NOT a hybrid role.
Experience with ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Demonstrate a high level of initiative and drive to complete tasks independently, proactively seeks solutions, and maintains focus and productivity without constant supervision
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain calm and in control under pressure
Consistently dependable with a strong sense of responsibility for accuracy and meeting deadlines.
