About the Role The People & Capability Partner is a strategic HR business partner responsible for coaching and advising leaders to deliver people-focused solutions that support organisational goals. Working closely with leadership teams, the role drives capability uplift, strengthens culture, and enhances the employee experience while ensuring alignment between people strategies and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with leaders to provide coaching, guidance, and strategic HR advice across people initiatives
Manage employee relations matters, including case management and workplace investigations
Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and improve workforce outcomes
Build leadership capability through training, coaching, and development initiatives
Drive culture, engagement, and employee experience improvements across the organisation
Support end-to-end people processes including change management, remuneration reviews, and talent cycles
About You:
You'll bring solid HR business partnering experience,
ideally within FMCG or manufacturing environments. You're confident working closely with leaders on the ground, translating operational challenges into practical, commercially focused people solutions.
You have a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset, backed by solid communication and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and challenge leaders effectively. Experience managing complex employee relations matters is essential, along with a hands-on approach across the full employee lifecycle.
Comfortable in a dynamic environment, you are naturally curious, data-led, and capable of driving culture, capability, and performance outcomes. Exposure to unionised settings and industrial frameworks is highly regarded.
Key requirements:
Proven HR business partnering experience, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing
Strong employee relations and case management/investigation experience
Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills
Data-led approach to workforce decision-making
Experience across the full employee lifecycle, including change management, remuneration reviews, and talent cycles
Exposure to unionised environments and industrial frameworks highly regarded
Compensation $140,000 - $150,000 AUD
