Midas Dental Erskineville has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Dental Assistant to join our friendly team! We are looking for a motivated candidate who wants to gain practical, on the job experience while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

About the opportunity:

Working under close direction and supervision, your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Chair side assisting during a range of general and cosmetic dental procedures
Preparing patients, instruments and treatment rooms for dental treatment
Sterilisation and infection control in line with practice protocols
Meeting and greeting patients as they arrive at the practice
Reception duties, including answering phones and scheduling appointments
Processing HICAPS and EFTPOS payments
Maintaining and monitoring clinical stock, and placing orders as required
General housekeeping to keep the practice clean, tidy and presentable

High attention to detail, particularly around hygiene and infection control
Solid organisational and time management skills
The ability to work well within a small, close knit team
Able to work on Saturday Fornightly.

Previous experience in this field or in customer service will be highly regarded, however it is not essential as full training will be provided.
