Green Light Australiaare partnering with a leading company to engage a Cloud Consultant to join their team. This role will play a critical part in shaping, developing, and enhancing our cloud service offerings, working closely with Product Owners, Cloud Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving cloud platform services, with a primary focus on
Microsoft Azure
and
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
practices using
Terraform
. This position requires a strong technical background in cloud architecture, automation, and stakeholder engagement, alongside the ability to translate business requirements into robust cloud service designs and reusable deployment patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Cloud Product Owners to enhance and evolve cloud service catalogue offerings.
Design and implement cloud solutions in collaboration with Cloud Technical Architects.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
Create standardized cloud service patterns and automation frameworks.
Contribute to cloud product roadmap planning and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Act as a Cloud Engineering SME and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.




Ensure cloud capabilities are delivered ahead of business demand.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Platform Engineering.
Solid hands‐on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform.
Ability to write, modify, and maintain Terraform templates.
Strong automation and DevOps mindset.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working across cross‐functional technical and business teams.
