We're excited to offer a full‐time, permanent opportunity for a Sales Support Merchandise team member to join our Cooma branch, playing a key role in driving in‐store sales and delivering outstanding service across our rural merchandise range.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the overall success of the branch. You'll build strong relationships with a wide range of customers - from local farmers and producers to trade customers - while bringing a positive, can‐do attitude to everything you do. You'll support the branch by:
Providing support and advice to customers
Performing day‐to‐day administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
Assisting customers with pricing and product queries
Processing counter sales
Assisting with merchandise campaign material
Manage stock and pick and pack customer orders
On farm deliveries when required
Maintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well‐presented store environment
Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
Supporting the team wherever needed to help keep the branch running smoothly
About you:
To be successful in this role,



you'll bring previous experience in a team support or customer‐focused role within a busy environment. You'll have a genuine interest in Australian farming and agriculture, with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise highly regarded.
Experience working in a sales, customer service or warehousing environment
An energetic, can‐do attitude with initiative and a practical problem‐solving approach
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build long‐term customer relationships
A proactive mindset with good organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to handle customer enquiries with empathy and confidence
An interest in identifying opportunities to improve internal sales and branch processes
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Forklift licence (desirable)
