Experienced Powder Coater – Full Process (Prep to Finish)

The Fabrication Company is a leading architectural metal fabrication business based in Loganholme, specialising in high-quality aluminium and steel projects. Our in-house powder coating facility, is looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join our growing team.

This is a hands‑on role covering the entire powder coating process—from preparation through to final inspection. If you take pride in producing a premium finish and have strong attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing aluminium and steel components for coating
Sanding, cleaning, degreasing and masking products
Hanging and unloading parts efficiently
Applying powder coatings to a high standard
Operating curing ovens and associated equipment
Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and consistency
Carrying out touch‑ups and rework where required
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work workplace
Working closely with our fabrication team to meet production deadlines

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:




A minimum of 4 years' powder coating experience
Proven experience in the complete powder coating process, from preparation to finished product
Experience coating aluminium and steel components
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
A strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A current Forklift Licence (LF) is advantageous but not essential
