Reporting to the General Manager of People & Capability, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity
Interpret and apply relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Fair Work legislation
Process new starters, terminations, leave, salary changes and payroll adjustments
Manage payroll reconciliations, superannuation,



PAYG and payroll tax obligations
Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end reporting
Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers
Support audits and ensure ongoing payroll compliance
Identify opportunities to improve payroll systems and processes
About You
Demonstrated experience in a senior payroll position with end-to-end payroll responsibility
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and Fair Work requirements
Experience interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Desired experience using payroll systems such as Employment Hero & ELMO
