Assist in sale day activities including:
Pre-sale scanning of livestock;
Receival of, loading and unloading of livestock
Drafting and penning of livestock
Post-sale weighing and delivery;
Counting andreconcile animals sold and delivered;
Undertake feeding of livestock;
Other duties as directed by the Business Manager

Job requirements
Demonstrated experience in livestock handling and sale yard processes;
Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of animal welfare and secure work practicesin a sale yard environment;
Demonstrated skills in horsemanship and the ability to work livestock on horseback;
Capable of operating feed mixer tractors bobcat loaders
Ability to undertake manual activities and meet the physical demands of a sale yard working workplace;
Ability to take direction, follow policies and procedures and work well in a team as well as unsupervised;
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including staff, customers, agents and contractors; and
Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
