Position
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, management insights and decision support across the organisation and affiliated foundations. The role is responsible for month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, audit preparation, compliance reporting and ongoing improvements to financial processes and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis
Managing month-end close activities, reconciliations and financial controls
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles
Providing insights and analysis to assist business decision-making
Coordinating audit preparation and statutory compliance requirements
Improving reporting, systems and accounting processes
Supporting project financial tracking and reporting
Profile
Seeking an experienced Management Accountant who combines strong technical accounting capability with a proactive and collaborative approach. You will bring:
CA/CPA qualification or equivalent accounting qualifications
5+ years' experience in management and financial accounting
Strong experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Confidence partnering with stakeholders across the business
Experience working in a multi-entity or branch reporting environment
Strong Excel skills and experience improving financial processes and systems
Sound knowledge of GST and FBT compliance requirements
Experience with MYOBor Power BI will be highly regarded.
