About the Role
Working closely with the Accounting and Payroll team, you'll assist in delivering accurate and timely financial services to a portfolio of clients while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.
Your responsibilities will include:
Essential Functions
Daily bank reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
End-of-month procedures, including preparing accruals and prepayment journals




Assisting with the preparation of accurate monthly financial statements for review by the Management Accountant
Responding to client and supplier enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Assisting with annual audits
Additional Duties
Providing support to the accounting team as required
Processing weekly accounts payable
Processing weekly payroll
Assisting with general accounting duties as required
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys learning, takes pride in producing accurate work and thrives in a collaborative environment.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience using MYOB and/or Xero
Previous payroll experience
Hospitality industry experience (highly regarded)
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality
