Opportunities:
The Sales and Strategic Growth Manager is responsible for the design and execution of the company's commercial sales and strategic growth strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth and expanding market footprint across the Australian Energy, Resources, Industrial, Marine, and Defence sectors.
Key Responsibilities include:
Strategic Growth: Identify, qualify, and capture high-value market opportunities aligned with corporate objectives.
Deal Execution: Lead the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, from strategic pursuit and tendering to closing tier-one contracts.
Client Partnerships: Build, mature, and maintain enduring executive-level relationships with key industry clients.
Key Duties:
You will be responsible for leading and managing the design and execution of the company's commercial sales strategy, with duties including (but not limited to):
Source, build and manage a robust sales pipeline across energy, resources, industrial, marine & defence sectors.
Prepare tailored commercial proposals, capability statements, and technical submissions; negotiate terms and pricing to maximise margin.
Manage tendering functions to ensure high-quality, technically accurate,
and commercially competitive submissions; attend clarification and kick-off meetings as required.
Own and deliver the annual sales revenue target, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Leadership Team.
Monitor commercial aspects of projects and ensure contract compliance throughout delivery.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade associations, and networking events to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
When required visit work sites to build relationships and manage issues.
Coordinate client feedback mechanisms and act on insights to improve service offerings and commercial positioning.
Develop Business Plans for recent ventures, service lines, or geographic expansions, and lead diversification initiatives in collaboration with senior management.
Provide commercial and technical positioning guidance to the Company, adapt pricing strategies to reflect market and economic conditions.

Position Requirements
This is a senior management position at Legeneering.
You will be required to hold the following:
"C" Class Drivers' License (essential)
Proven experience in sales, business development, or senior commercial management capacity, preferably within the Energy industry.
Advanced technical knowledge of the Energy Industry with a relevant Marketing/Business/ Management qualification (highly desirable).
Proven experience in sales, business development, or senior commercial management capacity, preferably within the oil & gas industry.
Excellent computer skills
Experience with tendering, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation.
· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify value, articulate competitive advantage, and close deals.
Exceptional client-facing and relationship management skills — confident at all levels from site supervisors to Executives.
High level of written & verbal communication skills
Cultural awareness, respect, and sensitivity regarding First Nations communities.
You must also have the ability to pass a workplace medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
