Maintenance Supervisor / Mechanical Fitter

We’re partnering with a globally recognised, well-established manufacturer to find a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Team Lead ready to step up into a Maintenance Supervisor role. This is a rare chance to run the show on site maintenance while still doing what you do best, troubleshooting, repairing, and keeping plant and machinery running. You’ll lead a small, close-knit maintenance team from the front, rolling up your sleeves on breakdowns and repairs while taking ownership of all mechanical maintenance across the site. Coordinating day-to-day maintenance activities and leading a small crew, while taking full ownership of maintenance across the plant. You’ll also drive continuous improvement, minimise downtime, improve reliability, and build a proactive maintenance culture on site.

What you’ll bring
Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (essential)
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience leading or supervising a small team
Robust fault-finding and problem-solving skills
A practical, hands-on approach to leadership, comfortable balancing supervision with time on the tools
A robust safety focus and proactive mindset
