About the role
This position reports into the Store Manager and is based at our Betta Store in Underwood. You will demonstrate excellent customer service, and a sound product knowledge. Ensure visual merchandising and housekeeping are meeting defined standards so the area of responsibility contributes to the store's overall appearance
Key responsibilities
Contribute to store sales budgets
Customer sales negotiation
Follow up on customer orders
Offer technical advice to customers
Assist with customer collections from store
Ensure that appliances, furniture and bedding are displayed in the most effective way for customers
Monitor stock levels and labelling and initiate ordering if required
Implement sales and promotional programs
Ensure security of all stock and the store
Follow up incomplete sales report
Support and follow the store OH&S; standards and emergency procedures
Experience
Retail experience, preferable in electrical and/or furniture
Record of achieving or excelling of budgets and target
