About the role
Associated Airconditioning is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Mechanical Services Estimator to join our team based in Wangara, WA.
This full-time role is crucial in supporting the strategic objectives of our business operating in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
What you'll be doing
Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for HVAC, mechanical and other related projects
Liaise with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications
Conduct site inspections, measurements and cost analysis to develop accurate and competitive estimates
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications and other project documentation
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure estimates align with delivery capabilities
Monitor project costs and profitability, providing regular updates to management
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, technology advancements and market trends
What we're looking for
Significant experience (minimum 5 years) as an HVAC/mechanical estimator or project coordinator
Robust technical knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, building services and associated legislation (BCA)




Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and manuals
Excellent analytical and numerical skills to develop accurate estimates and budgets
Proficient in using estimating software and other relevant computer applications
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Relevant industry qualifications or certifications are highly regarded
