The Company is in search of a Head of Claims and Operations to join their team.
This senior role is pivotal in the organization, acting as the key link between brokers, insurers, and external claims providers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective progression of claims, delivering exceptional service to key partners, and influencing outcomes in a strategic, relationship-focused capacity.
The Head of Claims and Operations will also be expected to contribute to the company's claims strategy, service standards, and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as provide insights on claims trends, broker feedback, and operational performance.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in general insurance claims, with a strong technical background in property, liability, or commercial lines.
They should be adept at handling escalated claims,



complaints, and dispute resolution matters, and possess excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with brokers, insurers, underwriting agencies, or TPAs is essential, as is a robust understanding of Australian insurance regulations, AFCA, and IDR requirements.
The role requires a commercially minded individual who can balance customer outcomes with business objectives and is a confident communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
