Canberra Allergy is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Receptionists to join their growing team.

Location: Canberra Allergy

Canberra Allergy has a new prospect for a dedicated medical receptionist at our specialist practice in Deakin. Canberra Allergy offers a variety of tests and treatments to the Canberra community.

Responsibilities
Front desk administration (answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments)
Liaise with patients and their families, doctors, other health specialists and their staff in a compassionate manner
Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence and results
All general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required
Provide ongoing support to specialists and practice nurses as required
Be a friendly point of contact between patients and the internal clinical team




Ability to work independently and as a team

Attributes
Medical admin/reception experience is desirable but not required
Best Practice software experience highly regarded
Strong Customer Service Skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Confident in the use of technology
Show initiative and work productively within a team environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
Ability to work alone and as part of a close team
Exceptional time management skills
Establish and maintain a excellent rapport with patients and colleagues
