The Role
Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.
TheSwim School Instructordelivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities.
Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team setting with minimal supervision.
Relevant industry qualifications are essential.
Multiple casual position available.
You must be available to work during school hours to teach school groups.
Skills & Attributes
Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
Qualifications
Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – or equivalent
Current to teaching?
If you have recently completed a swimming instructor course and wish to undertake your required training, please contact the Centre.
Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded.
