TRUCK TECH is looking for a Workshop Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Chipping Norton workshop.
Working alongside the Branch Manager, you'll play a key role in driving productivity, supporting and developing technicians, and ensuring every customer receives the exceptional service we're known for.

About the Role
As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of the workshop, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and motivating the workshop team
Planning and coordinating daily workflow
Allocating work to technicians based on skill set and workload




Monitoring workshop productivity and job progress
Working closely with the Service and Parts teams to maximise efficiency
Managing workshop logistics, subcontractors and vehicle movements
Coaching, mentoring and developing technicians
Maintaining safety, compliance and quality standards
Acting as second-in-charge to the Branch Manager
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (essential)
Previous Workshop Manager, Leading Hand or similar leadership experience
Strong heavy vehicle mechanical background
Proven ability to lead teams and improve workshop performance
Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
HR or HC Licence (preferred)
