Experience Dispatch / Receiving Fork Lift Operator Required
Programmed Maintenance Services – Claremont TAS
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team.
This role involves operating a forklift for most of the day while supporting warehouse operations in a high-volume environment.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
Move, load, and unload pallets within the warehouse.
Handle a high volume of pallet movements (approximately*****,000 pallets per dayacross the department).
Check paperwork to ensure correctbatches, materials, and documentation.
Unwrap materials and assist with organising the mass store area each morning.
Restack damaged pallets or pallets stacked too high.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Communicate clearly with team members usingtwo-way radios.
Follow all workplacehealth, safety, and quality standards.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Attributes
Strongsafety and quality awarenesswith a positive attitude toward protected work practices.
Minimum 12 months recent continuous forklift operating experienceas a dedicated forklift operator.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work in ahigh-pressure, fast-moving warehouse environment.
Willingness tolearn new skillsand work across multiple tasks.
Highattention to detailwhen handling materials and documentation.
Ability towork independentlyand achieve daily targets.
Physically fitand capable of handling items up to25 kg.
Comfortable driving a forkliftfor extended periods on uneven surfaces.
Willingness to workreasonable overtime, sometimes at short notice.
Nice to Have
Basic computer skills including email andMicrosoft Excel,Microsoft Word, andMicrosoft Outlook.
Experience usingSAPor willingness to learn.
Previous experience in anFMCG warehouse environment.
