The Opportunity - Stockland Merrylands, a Community Hub for Food and Fashion
We have an exciting opportunity available for anAdministration Assistantto join the Centre Management team atStockland Merrylands Shopping Centreon a12-month fixed-termcontract.
Based on siteMonday to Friday(9.00am to 5.30pm), this role supports the day-to-day administration and financial operations of the centre.
It is ideally suited to someone with an accounting or finance background who enjoys working with tenants, managing receivables and contributing to a busy retail environment.
We're Looking For
A proactive and organised Administration Assistant who can provide effective administrative and financial support while building positive relationships with retailers, tenants and key stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Working closely with the Administration Manager, you will be responsible for:
Supporting monthly billing activities, including utilities, invoicing and invoice reviews
Preparing accounts receivable invoices, processing daily receipts and allocating payments
Following up outstanding accounts and supporting debt management activities
Acting as a key contact for tenants and contractors, providing responsive customer service
Supporting public liability insurance compliance and incident management processes
Maintaining accurate records and workflows using SAP and other business systems
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
About You
You'll bring solid administrative capability, financial acumen and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Comfortable engaging with people over the phone, you are confident discussing outstanding accounts while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
Experience & Skills That Count
Previous administration experience in a customer-focused environment
Accounting or finance experience, including exposure to accounts receivable
Experience in property, retail or shopping centre environments is advantageous
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency across Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
Experience using SAP is desirable but not essential
