We are passionate about what we do and are looking for a talented Capability Design Lead who is equally passionate about our work.
If you're interested in a 3 day per week, 2 year contract role developing capability frameworks and learning resources to help sustain the ongoing quality and impact of our work, read on!
THE ROLE
Healthcare clowning work is highly skilled, combining artistic expertise with the nuanced empathy of working in sensitive environments.
The organisation has grown organically, adding new locations, wards and applications of the work as needs have arisen.
As CDA continues to grow towards its **** strategic vision, we are investing in clearer capability frameworks, resources and systems to support consistency, sustainability and future growth.
Reporting to the Artistic Director, you will be adept at taking information from various sources and creating structured capability frameworks that are practical, easy to understand and easy to use, refining and/or developing learning resources, and building systems to assist our workforce to evaluate the quality of learning activities as well as performer readiness to move into new areas of work.
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the systems,
frameworks and resources that will underpin performer capability across CDA into the future.
Experience designing capability frameworks, competency models, learning resources, assessment approaches or workforce development systems
Ability to translate complex information, knowledge and practice into clear, practical and usable frameworks, resources and documentation

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organisational priorities into practical outcomes
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify capability needs, patterns and emerging trends
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to create clear, accessible and well-structured documentation, resources and assessment tools
Strong verbal communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage complex projects and deliver sustainable systems, resources and processes
Nice to have:
Experience developing learning programs within arts, health, community or not-for-profit settings
Experience working across multiple locations, programs or workforce groups
Understanding of healthcare clowning practice and CDA's methodology
