GCC Business & Assurance is seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate External Auditor to join our Sydney office on a 6-month full-time contract.
The successful candidate will support external audit engagements under manager supervision across a range of private sector clients and industries.
The successful candidate will be required to work on-site at our Sydney office.

We are looking for a contractor that:
Come to a quick understanding of the audit client's business and activities including systems and IT controls, material areas and risk identification.
Evaluating financial statements and assessing accounts for accuracy, completeness and regulatory compliance.




Assisting manager undertake audits of the private sector across a variety of industries as well as ability to individually undertake small audits.
Have a reasonable knowledge of the Audit Process, able to complete audit testing over key balances and transactions, including revenue, expenses, payroll, assets and liabilities.
Skills required:
Organisational skills including valuable time management and an ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment.
Commitment to continued learning and development of analytical and judgement skills.
Qualification and Experience required:
Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent
Completion or near completion CA/CPA study modules
Two to three years' experience in external auditing
Experience in accounting softwares (Xero, MYOB)
Experience in audit software Caseware would be an advantage.
