Your Key Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership and operational management of inpatient services after hours
Foster strong collaborative partnerships with multidisciplinary teams,
services, and external organisations to ensure optimal patient care
Support the Executive team, Nursing Unit Managers, and Patient Flow Coordinator in daily operational activities
Contribute to strategic planning, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in rostered Executive On-Call duties during after-hours and weekends

Selection Criteria:
Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
Demonstrated extensive post-registration experience in mental health nursing with management experience and experience in acute mental health care.
Demonstrated excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to undertake clinical service planning, change management and financial management.
Knowledge of Work Health and Safety and Injury Management, security, risk, and safety management, associated with acute mental health service.
Understanding of and commitment to consumer and carer consultation and participation in service planning and delivery.
Sound knowledge of Performance Management and Industrial Relations Processes.
Computer literacy and current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position)
